About TJ Wilson

TJ Wilson, also known as mtjwilson, is the founder, editor, and host for Grow Thereby.

He is from Brownsburg, Indiana and grew up under the ministry of Dr. Marc Monte at Faith Baptist Church in Danville, Indiana. Struggling with following what the Lord had for his life, compared to his own desires and the desires others had for him, he ended up initially pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality from Vincennes University. After he got right with the Lord, he pursued his calling for the ministry at Pensacola Christian College.

While at Pensacola Christian College, he started studying the scriptures to grow in his personal walk with Christ. In doing so, he stumbled upon 1 Peter 2:2, which gave him a concrete desire to study the Word more. The Lord also gave him a desire to share the Gospel and God's Word with others through this ministry so that they may too "grow thereby."

He has served in multiple local ministries, and currently serves as a Pastoral Intern at NorthStone Baptist Church in Pensacola.
